چکیده
Background and Aim: There are limited number of studies providing information regarding the progression acute hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection to chronic phase. Aim is determine percentage patients who progressed stage. Methods: It was a prospective study over period four years in which total 409 confirmed were enrolled but out them only three hundred four, (221 men 83 women, 06-82 old) able be followed up regularly for atleast six months or more, thus data pertaining analyzed. Results: Out 304 patients, 279 resolved became Hepatitis surface antigen (HbsAg) DNA negative whereas 25 went into No differences found between groups with respect age sex. However, Serum Bilirubin, amino transaminases, HbeAg HBV Quantitative levels significantly lower Conclusion: Around 91.78% 8.22% Chronic stage twenty-five had mild on comparison resolved, suggesting that may have higher risk progressing infection.

Expression of Human Cytokine Genes Associated with Chronic Hepatitis B Disease Progression
Background: Hepatitis viruses are non-cytopathic viruses that lead to the infection and pathogenesis of liver diseases as a result of immunologically mediated event. Objective: To investigate the expression of human inflammatory cytokines in chronic hepatitis B patients according to the severity of the infection. Methods: We recruited a total of 120 patients, 40 of whom from cirrhotic, 40 non-c...
متن کاملDetermining the progression stages of liver fibrosis in patients with chronic hepatitis B
Introduction: Chronic hepatitis B (CHB) leads to liver fibrosis, its failure, and death in the long term. The stage of fibrosis in CHB patients can also be detected based on the biochemical markers. The aim of this study was to predict the state of liver fibrosis in CHB patients and determine the possibility of patients shifting from a given state to another one. Materials and Methods: This stu...
متن کاملRisk factors for acute hepatitis B and its progression to chronic hepatitis in Shanghai, China
BACKGROUND AND AIMS The major risk factors for acute hepatitis B (AHB) in China and the viral factors determining the progression from acute to chronic hepatitis B remain largely unknown. METHODS Epidemiological studies within a population-based surveillance for AHB in adults were performed in Shanghai, China, including 294 patients, 588 matched controls and 572 family members of the patients...
متن کاملInfluence of hepatitis delta virus infection on progression to cirrhosis in chronic hepatitis type B.
Serological markers of hepatitis delta virus (HDV) infection were found in 18 (12%) of 146 consecutive patients with chronic hepatitis B, and the characteristics of patients who had antibody to HDV (anti-HDV-positive) were analyzed. During one to 15 years of follow-up, histological deterioration was documented in 77% of anti-HDV-positive patients; however, in hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg)...
متن کاملProgression of alcoholic acute to chronic pancreatitis.
Alcoholic chronic pancreatitis usually progresses from acute attacks to chronic pancreatitis within one to 19 years. The factors responsible for the appreciable variability in progression are unclear. In this study the relation between progression and the incidence and severity of acute episodes in a large cohort of patients with alcoholic chronic pancreatitis was analysed. All patients with at...
